Kosher Rolled Kamut Khorasan wheat contains 20-40% more protein than common rolled wheat, and can be used as other rolled grains as a breakfast cereal or in baked goods, or as an interesting addition to other recipes. *Certified and bagged in Nebraska* All of the Kamut Wheat received is directly from Kamut International, and they grow it primarily in Montana, but some may come from Canada. Then Grain Place Foods grinds it into flour at their plant as well as package the whole grain into 2 LB, 25 LB, and rolled it into flakes.
An ancient relative of durum wheat, Kamut – an early Egyptian word for wheat – has a history rich in myth. One popular story is that an American airman was given a few grains taken from a stone box in an Egyptian tomb following WWII.
Some of these found their way to a Montana farmer, who was able to grow the grain as a novelty crop. In 1977 another Montana wheat farmer, T. Mack Quinn and his agricultural scientist son obtained a jar of the wheat relative and continued its development.
They recognized the value of the crop and coined the trade name Kamut. It is similar (many claim superior) in flavor and texture to regular wheat, considered easier to digest, and is used successfully as a wheat substitute.

We don't control the inventory in our factory and warehouse. Stocks are subject to change at any moment. Please understand it may happen that your order is out of stock after your order has been made.
Our policy is valid for 30 days. If you haven't received your product within 30 days, we are unable to offer a refund or an exchange.
You can only return an item if it is unused and is in the same condition when you first received it. It must also be in its original packaging.
